Filippo Papa has created over thirty performances in Italy and abroad, developing a personal language that fuses body, word, and image into a contemporary ritual. From his debut with Poetry Box (Varese, 2021) to international stages in Tozeur (Tunisia), Santanyí and Mallorca (Spain), Ybbs (Austria), Budapest (Hungary), and extending into the Metaverse, his performances explore themes of identity, love, and human vulnerability, transforming the artistic act into a sensory and symbolic experience. In Italy, he has performed in cities such as Venice, Naples, Carrara, Catania, and Portovenere, receiving significant recognition. Within his ongoing research and experimentation, Filippo Papa conceived the Holoperformance, developed in collaboration with artist Joan Josep Barcelo, with whom he has realized numerous artistic actions and shared performative projects. This practice expands the body into digital and symbolic space, redefining the concepts of presence and relationship. In parallel, he developed the Skin Collage technique, generating photoperformances, video art, installations, and painterly works that often emerge directly from the performative act itself. His performances transcend the boundary between artist and audience, transforming the artwork into an act of catharsis, presence, and shared truth.
