Filippo Papa’s mixed media practice arises from the intersection of photography, performance, and matter.
His works evolve from both personal exhibitions — such as Archai and Fotogramma, which integrated video installations — and live performances where the gesture itself becomes substance, as in Red and Actus Ruber. Through pigments, reliefs, video, sculptural elements, graphic compositions, poetry, and writing, he creates visual rituals in which body and material merge into a single breath.
